How to make the parking layout drawing (haichizu)
The 配置図 shows the size of your parking space, the entrance and the street. Enter your measurements below and it is drawn for you.

Generate your layout drawing
Use a tape measure, then enter the numbers. Add your car's length and width (from the ) to check it fits.
To print it together with the other documents, use the document tool.
What the drawing must show
- Position and size of the space (width × depth, in metres)
- Position and width of the entrance
- The street and its width (幅員)
- Nearby buildings (your house, etc.)
- For rented parking: your space number (区画番号) within the lot
A sketch is fine. What matters is that dimensions are written as numbers and positions are clear.
How to measure
- Width: inside walls or posts.
- Depth: from the street edge to the back.
- Entrance: the opening the car drives through.
- Street width: edge to edge.
Monthly parking (tsukigime)
Draw the whole lot, hatch your space and write its number. You will also need a consent certificate from the management company.
